Chocolate Championship Whoopie Pie Recipe

Chocolate Championship Whoopie Pies by Bunny Baubles Blog 6

The weekend before last I joined my friends, along with the rest of America, to watch the Super Bowl. I made my version of Chuy’s classic jalapeño ranch dip and swapped out the sour cream for Greek yogurt. After about two hours of devouring it without caring, I realized there was nothing unhealthy about it anymore! Except for the pound of tortilla chips that accompanied it… Small victories. Cake and Champagne Party

Cake and Champagne Party by Bunny Baubles 10

As you may have seen on my Instagram, I helped to host a birthday celebration this weekend! The initial plan for Maggie’s birthday had been to drive out to New Braunfels, float the river, and enjoy each others’ company. Then we got lazy, didn’t want to find a house to stay at, or drive all the way out there. We were also lacking in money from a very fun girls weekend consisting of a little too much shopping and cocktail sampling. Classic. Continue reading “Cake and Champagne Party”

3 Ingredient Strawberry Mint Pops Recipe

Strawberry Mint Pops by Bunny Baubles Blog 4

Each week I head to the grocery store on Sunday and stock up for the week. On my sugar reducing kick, I ran to the produce section and stocked up on boxes upon boxes of fresh strawberries, they were on sale! By Wednesday I had eaten approximately half of them, and they started to look a little droopy. I could have frozen them for berry beet smoothies, but I already had a whole bag in there (notice my problem with over-buying produce). Looked like I was going to have to eat the entire box of strawberries in one night. Continue reading “3 Ingredient Strawberry Mint Pops Recipe”

Baking Cookies in Monstrous Proportions: Monster Cookie Recipe

Monster Cookies by Bunny Baubles Blog

There are so many cookie recipes out there, it’s hard to say I have a favorite. I’m a sucker for a fantastic peanut butter cookie recipe (check mine out here). Then there are oatmeal raisin that are so comforting and make the entire house smell like grandma’s. A classic fallback are good ole chocolate chip cookies, which I tend to make the most. But really, why pick one when you could have them all? Continue reading “Baking Cookies in Monstrous Proportions: Monster Cookie Recipe”

Hawaiian Coconut Pineapple Crumble Recipe

Coconut Pineapple Crumble by Bunny Baubles Blog 7

Being in Hawaii for Spring Break was incredibly inspiring. I can see why artists go on extravagant adventures to places they’ve never been before. Getting to experience such a unique culture in Maui was eye opening and exciting! I saw new animals, ate new foods, smelled new plants, and breathed the ocean air in a way I never had before. Lemon Squares Recipe – Pucker Up!

IMG_5735

One of my most loved recipes is for lemon squares. They are intensely tart and fresh tasting, with a thin, buttery crust and a soft, jelly like curd. I’ve become quite the snob about it and barely order them at any bakery, even though they’re one of my favorite treats, because I think these are the best! Every time I bring them to a gathering people ask me for the recipe. Here’s the secret… you’ve probably had it under your roof for ages! Continue reading “Lemon Squares Recipe – Pucker Up!”

Birthday Cake Puppy Chow Recipe

Birthday Cake Puppy Chow by Bunny Baubles Blog

I love having my girl friends over. They appreciate dessert like it’s their jobs, and since I act like it’s my job to bake all the time, we go pretty well together! Also The Bachelor is back for another season, so we have a reason to see each other weekly again! This called for celebratory sweets when we got together for a viewing party.
