At some point during the Fall, I get tired of the pumpkin things and move on to the apple things. I go out and buy the best apple cider available, the Trader Joe’s spiced apple cider, and then I make everything I can with it. The cocktail I’m sharing today is a result of some experimentation with this apple cider and my lack of other specialty ingredients… and it turned out to be AMAZING!Continue reading “The Perfect Fall Cocktail for Everyone”
I feel like I have total vacation brain right now. Anything tropical is just calling out to me, between the pineapple jalapeno margs and the palm printed pillows, it’s just time for me to head to Hawaii… anyone think my boss would let me go a week early?
I like to think that Cinco de Mayo (which I recognize is just an American excuse to make margaritas and chow down on tacos) is the start of margarita season. As you may have seen on my Instagram, I helped to host a birthday celebration this weekend! The initial plan for Maggie’s birthday had been to drive out to New Braunfels, float the river, and enjoy each others’ company. Then we got lazy, didn’t want to find a house to stay at, or drive all the way out there. We were also lacking in money from a very fun girls weekend consisting of a little too much shopping and cocktail sampling. Classic. Continue reading “Cake and Champagne Party”
The heat is rolling in, the sun is shining, and the patio is just calling your name! With holiday weekends, Summer vacations, and pool parties in your future, you had better be ready with some recipes to entertain and cool your guests. I find having a cocktail ready when people arrive is the easiest way to make them feel at ease, so let’s get something going here, shall we? Continue reading “Lemon and Peach Tea Cocktail Recipe”
