On Saturday, August 1, 2020, Kyle and I got married! If you read my previous post on our COVID-19 wedding planning, you may be confused, as this mini wedding was not our first, second, or third plan. But wow, did it turn out to be SO SPECIAL!
Wow, it’s May 2, 2020. This is the day I thought I was going to get married for over a year, and here we are postponed. It is surreal. I wrote about rescheduling our wedding if you are interested, but because it’s no longer set for today and all of these times and dates have changed, I thought I could share our invitation design and printing process! It’s true. Our May 2, 2020 wedding has been rescheduled to July 17, 2020.
Happy October first! This year for Halloween, I wanted to recreate one of my favorite new characters from one of my favorite Netflix shows: Robin from Stranger Things! She worked alongside Steve Harrington at the ice cream shop at the mall, and even though we see her over many episodes, she consistently has her ice cream shop uniform on, thus making it the perfect Halloween costume as it’s her only outfit! When it comes to wedding decorations, what’s more iconic than flowers? If you ask me, nothing really beats the moment when the florist comes to deliver the flowers to the wedding party and the bride sees her bouquet for the first time. It’s important you choose the right florist so you get exactly the look your want (also at the price that you want!).
When it comes to planning a wedding, there are a handful of very important vendors that you will want to spend your time researching and deliberating before deciding. One of the most important is your photographer. This person will capture your day for you to remember for eternity, and you want to make sure that they are dependable, talented, and most importantly, someone you feel comfortable with. Can we acknowledge the fact that I’ve been engaged for over 3 months, and I have yet to post about it on the blog!? I shared my news on Instagram a few days after Kyle and I were engaged, but dove straight in to planning and have had little time to share anything new about it on my site. Seeing as it’s Valentine’s Day, I figured it was high time to let you all in on a few details and share my inspiration process! Continue reading “Making a Wedding Mood Board”
I’m not sure how the tradition of making cookies at Christmas time came about, but I’m not complaining about it. Cookies happen to be my favorite desserts to make, and probably my favorite dessert to eat. Something I’ve never really been fond of, though, is gingerbread. Continue reading “Gingersnap Men”
