Happy October first! This year for Halloween, I wanted to recreate one of my favorite new characters from one of my favorite Netflix shows: Robin from Stranger Things! She worked alongside Steve Harrington at the ice cream shop at the mall, and even though we see her over many episodes, she consistently has her ice cream shop uniform on, thus making it the perfect Halloween costume as it’s her only outfit! Everyone wants to be a celebrity! And when a celebrity basically doesn’t have a face, it turns out you can replicate their look into a costume pretty much to a tee.
October is here which means it is COSTUME TIME! I actually made this for my Oktoberfest themed birthday party, but it works just as well as a Halloween costume for the upcoming festivities. Really, you can get two events worth of costumes out of this, does it get any better than that?
Over at my house we might be the only people thinking about elaborate 80’s character costumes in the springtime. As you [should] know, a birthday party isn’t complete without a theme, and a theme isn’t complete without a full fledged costume.
