#upcycled this dress from an old project, and I couldn’t love it any more!! ❤️ It was my first time shirring and I think I’m hooked
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but it’s fresh chocolate chip cookie o’clock 🍪🎉
We’re getting snowed in, so naturally I made a summer top 🙃 but I love how it turned out! The puff sleeves are so perfect - I want to make a dress with them out of an old project I was looking to refashion.
#progress I say this all the time - it takes SO much practice to bake, sew, anything! Over the years I have attempted decorated cookies, and I want to say the latest batch are my best! I used “the best sugar cookies” recipe from @sallysbakeblog but added in some lemon zest for a fun twist 🍋 I then mixed powdered sugar, meringue powder, and lemon juice to make the icing and used @wiltoncakes gel food coloring (and tips on their website!) for the flowers. I’ve saved the process in my highlights if you missed it the first time around!
Is it really January if you’re not trying new recipes? And is it really January of 2021 if you’re not trying to make at home brunch feel like a restaurant? Kyle wasn’t sold on the cashew crema but otherwise these lox breakfast bowls from @kristincavallari’s Tru Comfort cookbook were 👌🏻Happy weekend, y’all ❤️
Our Chicago 3-Flat inspired Gingerbread house is finally complete!!! A day of sketching our design and pattern, a day prepping the gingerbread, and a day decorating and building - we love it!! Favorite details:
