So as you all know, the Superbowl took place this past Sunday, and my friends hosted a huge party to celebrate! With the Superbowl of football comes the super sized bowls of dip, wings, and every other horrible-for-you food you can imagine. Needless to say, we were all uncomfortably stuffed, but quite content. The exciting game in the background didn’t hurt either!
Since we all volunteered to bring food, I got overly excited, per usual. I had already decided I needed to provide guac and my family’s famous lemon squares (recipe to come!), but I wanted to throw a new recipe in to the mix. That’s when I realized my favorite dip of all would be missing from the party, and I needed to have it!
Now I love dips, sauces, condiments, etc. more than the average person. I eat chips and fries only for the excuse to eat more sauce. Ketchup, BBQ, Canes, you name it: I will eat it by itself. But Creamy Jalapeno Ranch from Chuy’s is by far the best of the best. Though I am usually not even a huge spicy food fan or Ranch fan, this combo is unbeatable. Smooth and cooling with a great kick, no matter how much you try to stop, it keeps reeling you in to eat more! My friends and I nick-named it “crack sauce” for its addictive powers. My recipe does not include any drugs, but I promise you’ll be refilling the bowl for your guests with this show stopping dip!
This is the closest I’ve come to the real thing at Chuy’s after trying some recipes I found online and adding my own twist on things. Hope you all enjoy!
Chuy’s Jalapeno Ranch Dip

2 Tbs. Garlic Salt
2 Cloves Garlic, sliced

All you need to do is throw all of these ingredients into the blender in the order given and mix on high for about a minute. Serve it immediately with tortilla chips, or store in the fridge for up to a week!

Made this tonight. I de-seeded and de-veined my jalapeno, and the sauce was very spicy. Next time we will try it with lime instead of lemon.

Lucky for you….I work at Chuys!! We don’t drain or deseed our jalapeños, that’s where all the good stuff is! You got it pretty much right on the money..lol I can’t tell you anything more

I know it’s heavy cream. I try to get an ingredient or two every time I go. 🤣 A server told me. I also tried lime and it seemed a tad more authentic.
I love this stuff……two jalapeños was way too much heat. Maybe only one if you leave in the good stuff.
Thank you so much for posting. 🤯
