Well, I’m officially back from England and back to the grind this week. I have to admit that although I love to get back to a scheduled lifestyle, I am really missing exploring around London and am not ready to give up British tea time. Continue reading “Vanilla Biscotti”
Is there anything more perfect than the smell of cinnamon sugar wafting from the oven while you sip on hot cocoa under the light of the Christmas tree? Being home for the holidays is something I absolutely cherish, and this year I got to go home at Thanksgiving for the first time in years! We took full advantage of our time together by doing what we do best: baking.

After the longest short week of my life, all I can think about is reading my two new favorite books (just received Layered and Styled as early birthday presents!) and a big, delicious brunch. My intentions are to throw some veggies in the mix… but sometimes sprinkles just win me over.

We’ve all heard of a bloody mary (yum.), but what about it’s beer based cousin? Continue reading “Michelada Popsicle Cocktails”
If you followed along with me a little while back, you know I was looking for ways to cut sugar out of my diet, especially at breakfast time. For a while I had been eating plain hard boiled eggs for breakfast, but that got old really fast, and I was back to my sugary cereal before I knew it. Cold hard boiled eggs = boring and dry.

Guys, I’ve done a bad thing. I’m currently sitting in front of the TV watching Halloween Baking Challenge, writing this post, and eating Nutella straight out of the jar. Spoon, scoop, mouth. I have no clue what prompted my first Nutella purchase, but it happened and now I’m going through this jar like it’s my job. I probably knew this was a bad idea in the past, but I was incredibly hungry at the store, it was pouring outside and I wanted comfort food, and I finally took the plunge. Well, okay time to commit to this new love! Continue reading “Pumpkin Nutella Swirl Muffin Recipe”
