Every party needs some good appetizers. Something the host can easily make almost completely ahead of time and leave out for guests as they arrive.

Bagel chips, for those of you who haven’t tried them, are crunchy, buttery, and bite sized chips made from bagels. The garlic flavor easily lent itself to a bruschetta appetizer. It’s one of my faves since it can be served at room temperature, but is still fresh and colorful. The cinnamon flavor had me inspired to use a Fall flavor profile, so I whipped up a pumpkin and cream cheese topping.

Garlic Bagel Chip Bruschetta

Ingredients:

1 small bag Chicago Style Garic Bagel Chips
10-15 Cherry Tomatoes, sliced
3 Basil Leaves, chopped
1 tsp. Balsamic Vinegar
1 tsp. Olive Oil
1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
Salt and Pepper to taste

Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl except for the bagel chips to combine. Top the bagel chips with the mixture.

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Bites

Servings: 4

Ingredients:

1 small bag Chicago Style Cinnamon Bagel Chips
4 oz. Cream Cheese, softened
3 Tbs. Pumpkin Puree
1 tsp. Cinnamon
2 Tbs. Brown Sugar
A pinch of Salt

Cream you cream cheese until it is smooth. Mix in all of the rest of your ingredients except the bagel chips until they are a smooth consistency. Place the mixture into a piping bag, or a zip-top bag, and cut the tip off. Pipe the mixture in swirls on to your bagel chips.
