I’m going to be honest with y’all – I have never had a pumpkin spiced latte. I KNOW! AM I EVEN ENJOYING THE FALL SEASON? I guess it’s probably because I make most of my tea and coffee at home, so I’ve never made my way out to Starbucks to try one.

Not to worry though, I am always stuffing myself with pumpkin breads, cupcakes, and any other baked good that can be packed with pumpkin throughout the months of October and November. I think it’s time, however, to introduce a new pumpkin family member to the bunch. The pumpkin pie cocktail.

A couple of weeks ago Megan and I tried to plan a happy hour with our girl friends, but to our dismay everyone was busy. It then proceeded to hail golf ball sized pieces of ice in Houston, so the two of us decided to have a night in with cocktails and the HBO Go movie selection.
