What do you want to see in 2017? VOTE!

Y’all it is a brand new year, and I am out of the country! I plan to share my travel adventures with you as soon as possible, but in lieu of a new DIY blog post today, I wanted to get your input on what you would like to see in the new year. Do you love the fashion sewing projects? Or do you wish you saw more cakes and parties? Is there something you think is missing from the site?

If you could vote for your favorite topics below I would really appreciate it! You have one week until the poll closes, so make sure to fill it out ASAP and share with your friends.

Bunny Baubles Turns 3 + My Blogging Secrets

bunny-baubles-turns-three-1

Y’all, Bunny Baubles officially turns 3 today! Three years ago I thought it would be fun to start-up a blog to share sewing and baking projects with my friends and family. Little did I know I would be turning this into my part-time (basically second full-time) job and getting paid to do it!

Bunny Baubles Christmas Deals for my Readers!

Christmas gift coupon codes

I know you are all scrambling to find the perfect gifts for everyone on your list right now, so I thought I would try to help you out! There are always those people who have everything or don’t ever want to give you any ideas, and I’ve found that the best way to buy for them is to give them an experience. Some of my favorite collaborations I’ve done with Bunny Baubles have been with the three companies below who are all offering discounts to my readers! Check them out, and good luck shopping!

  1. Craft a Brew – 10% Off with the code BUNNYBREW until 12/12/2016, plus $5 shipping on orders over $50 – Why are guys always the hardest to shop for? Brothers, dads, and boyfriends give me the most trouble, but I can assure you a beer brewing kit will put a smile on their face! Oh, and guess what, they are making WINE KITS NOW. So now you have gifts for your girlfriends too.
  2. HelloFresh – $35 Off with the code BUNNYBAUBLES35 – People love food. Most people love cooking too. Many people hate to shop and don’t have a lot of time. HelloFresh food boxes are the answer! This is such a fun gift for a friend or family member, especially someone in college or a new chef.
  3. Degustabox – 50% off plus a bonus item with DEGUSTABUNNY – Have someone in your life who truly has everything? Send them a Degustabox packed full of unique goodies that surprises them at their door! This is great because it’s all non-perishable food so it can sit on someone’s doorstep who isn’t expecting it, and there are always items that you will have never tried before.

I’m going to be honest with y’all,  I already finished my holiday shopping! I am pretty thrilled because I have a big trip coming up and have so much to wrap up for the blog before the holidays hit so it was pretty crucial I got the shopping part out of the way. I plan to take a 2.5 week trip using only a carry on suitcase and a personal item… wish me luck, and I’ll update you on more details soon!

The Best of Bunny Baubles November 2016

It’s December and it’s cold and it’s Christmas time! These are all things I’m very excited for.

November was a month filled with really happy moments – Thanksgiving with my family, celebrating birthdays with friends, traveling to Austin after what felt like months of planning, and I finally committed to buying a new car! Usually December has me a little overwhelmed with Christmas parties and all, but with holiday shopping finished and so many big decisions and moments happening in November, I am actually finding myself really relaxed.

What have I got planned? Christmas movies, baking, holiday cheer in the form of every hot beverage known to man, and being with the people I love the most. If you ask me, I am really blessed to have that to-do list set. I also have some exciting Bunny Baubles work happening in the background that I am beyond excited to share with you all – stay tuned!

Before you take a hop, skip, and a leap into December, make sure you didn’t miss any November fun! Plus, check out my gift guides that will help you with any last minute present hunting.

The Best of Bunny Baubles October 2016

I’m going to go out on a limb and say that you and I are both really ready for the holidays? Can you feel the frost in the air? The smell of a pine tree wafting from the living room and freshly baked cookies from the oven?

Ok, so it’s still 80 degrees in Houston. I’m turning down the AC, lighting a Christmas tree candle, and baking cookies – I’m going to make the holidays HAPPEN! Every year they catch me off guard, so I’m planning to start my decorating and celebrating early in November to make the most of it. It is the most wonderful time of the year, after all.

But before we prance right into Thanksgiving and Christmas, I want to hear about your lovely Octobers! Did you dress up for Halloween? Please share your costumes with me, I absolutely love to see your creativity every year. I’m also taking donations in the form of apple cider donuts since I went up north twice this Fall and still somehow managed to miss out on them on both trips. I’m worthless, I know.

Most excitingly Good Housekeeping shared my DIY Sia costume on their website, along with many other blogs. It’s good to know that y’all adore her as much as I do.

Check out my October favorites to make sure you didn’t miss anything, and let’s get ready for November!

The Best of Bunny Baubles September 2016

October is HERE! October is one of the best months of the year in Houston. The weather is heavenly, and I’ll be spending every moment I can at outdoor cafes and reading on my porch. Oh, and prepping for Halloween, obviously! Costumes are coming…

September was not without its highlights, though. I had an incredible time celebrating Oktoberfest for my 26th birthday, and I started making comfort food to prep for the Fall season. I’m so thankful for having a whirlwind of a month with a ton of good friends and family.

Check out my September favorites to make sure you didn’t miss anything!

The Best of Bunny Baubles August 2016

Happy September, y’all! Like every month this year, I feel like August has flown by. Though I’m not going to miss the worst weather of the year in Houston, I am going to miss that Summer feeling. There’s just something about Summer that is carefree and playful. We did a lot of rose drinking (and eating) this month to beat the heat, while wearing the lightest and brightest clothes I could design.

With that, September is here – the month of my birthday! – and lots of exciting things to come. I’m looking forward to lots of Oktoberfest beer drinking, pretending it’s cold enough to wear boots with my dresses, and cooking up some family comfort food.

Check out my August favorites to make sure you didn’t miss a moment of DIY lovin’! Any plans for Labor Day weekend to wrap up the Summer?

The Best of Bunny Baubles July 2016

So I’ve never written a “Best Of” post, but after thinking about it and getting comments at varying times of the year I realized that y’all may miss a post here and there. Not to worry, the gang’s all here!

Each month I will do a roundup of my favorite blog posts from the month to summarize the best moments on Bunny Baubles. July is up and August is here (where did the time go?!), so it’s time to try this out!

July is peak summer, so it’s no surprise that I was dying to sew up and wear the brightest colors I could find. Somehow I turned on the oven a couple of times, flip flopping between chocolate and fruity notes. All I know is there was a lot of sugar. When it came to decorating, it was all about the gold. Maybe I’m foreshadowing the US Olympic team wins coming up – starting today! Are y’all as excited as I am? The Summer Olympics are my favorite, and you will find me glued to the TV, especially during the gymnastics competitions.

Happy August everyone, hope you have some awesome plans in store to finish up the Summer!
