Cranberry Moscow Mule Cocktail

With Thanksgiving only a week (that’s right, 1 WEEK!) away, I’ve got my mind on turkey, stuffing, and cranberries. Oh, and celebratory I’m home in Chicago cocktails with my parents! Since turkey and stuffing don’t lend themselves very well to a cocktail, I stuck with the cranberries.

My Degustabox (box filled with an assortment of awesome groceries – try it for only $10 with the link below!) this month came with two cans of Bruce Cost Ginger Beer and I knew immediately that I would be whipping up a batch of mules. Moscow mules are a classic cocktail that have become incredibly trendy in the last few years. A great mix of sweet and spicy – there’s a little something for everyone.

HOT SALE! Only $9.99 for your first Degustabox! Try today, shipping is FREE! Enjoy the always delicious Degustabox surprises.

You start by shaking together some cranberry juice, lime juice, and vodka in a cocktail shaker. Then, fill a glass with ice, pour in your shaken mixture, and slowly top it with the spicy ginger beer to give it a pretty ombre look. A few cranberries on a skewer for the top, and we are ready for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or a random Thursday night!

Thank you to Degustabox for sponsoring the blog post. All recipes and opinions about the products and Degustabox are my own.

Cranberry Moscow Mule Cocktail

  • Servings: 1
  • Difficulty: easy
  • Print

2 oz. Cranberry juice
1 oz. Vodka
1 Slice of Lime
2-3 oz. Ginger Beer
Cranberries for garnish

Add to a cocktail shaker cranberry juice, vodka, squeezed lime slice, and a handful of ice and shake vigorously for about 30 seconds. Fill a tall glass with ice and pour in the shaken mixture. Slowly add the ginger beer to the top, pouring it over the top of an ice cube as to not allow the drink to mix too much. Skewer a few cranberries with a drink pick and set it on top.
