As it was probably obvious by the name of my blog, I always get really excited about Easter! My apartment is basically decorated for Easter year round (so much bunny artwork), but If I get an excuse to go all out and add pastel colors then I am 100% going to go for it.
I don’t tend to go home anymore for Easter since I see my family around spring break most of the time instead, so I like to host a little Easter gathering for dessert! To keep it casual, yet festive, I like to create a table setting that is all disposable and filled with fun details. The best way to do this is to decorate with paper items, simple flowers, and cheap fabric.
To create my budget friendly Easter table setting:
- Start with a DIY light blue tablecloth that can be made from a couple of yards of fabric with the edges folded over and sewn down. If you aren’t a sewer, you can also use fabric glue and an iron to do this.
- For food, set out some of these adorable little bunny dessert plates and coordinate them with scalloped and polka-dot napkins.
- For drinks, I like to use little plastic cups with colorful straws to keep things easy and disposable.
- When it comes to adding the extra decorations, buy some confetti paper to sprinkle around the table, as well as some spring flowers in white, green, and pink. I was able to make three arrangements like these for $10 total using baby’s breath, some greenery, and pink carnations.

What will we have for dessert? Let’s just say I’m working on something a little special this year that I can’t wait to share with y’all!
