Rosé Wine Gummies Recipe

The best projects I’ve made recently seem to be the collaborative ones. As of late, that has been primarily driven by my friend Lauren who texts me brilliant ideas and I go out, buy supplies, and get to work. The newest genius invention: rosé wine gummies.

Rose gummy roses already exist, but they are on back order like crazy. Bachelorette party goers, aspiring fiancees, and grown up kids everywhere are dying to get their hands on these gummies. What they don’t know is that you only need three ingredients and some molds, and you can make them yourself!

I got to work on the perfect recipe for boozy, sweet, rosé gummies to bring to a White Linen Night party at Lauren’s. Though this Houston Heights street festival is a little sweaty, people tend to treat it as a somewhat fabulous event, wearing all white and heading out to celebrate the Summer. Rosé wine + 3D diamond shaped molds = the perfect party snack.

HOW FABULOUS ARE THESE?! Though the process is a tiny bit messy, the gummies pop right out of the molds, and I was immediately obsessed with them. They were such a hit at the party, and people were shocked that they tasted exactly like a gummy bear and their favorite wine had had a perfect baby!

Display them in wine glasses, have them haphazardly strewn across a dessert table, or string them on a wire for a next level candy necklace – these diamond shaped rosé wine gummies will not disappoint!

See below for the recipe.

Rosé Wine Gummies

  • Servings: 3 Diamond Molds Worth
  • Difficulty: easy
  • Print

Ingredients:

1 cup Sweet Rosé Wine
1/4 cup White Sugar
6 packets of Unflavored Gelatin (1.5 oz. total)
1-2 drops Pink Food Coloring

1. Pour your white sugar and unflavored gelatin into a bowl with a spout and stir to combine.

2. Heat up 2/3 cup of the wine in the microwave for about 45 seconds. Pour this in to the bowl with the sugar and gelatin and stir to combine. Once all of the powder has dissolved, add in the rest of the wine and 1-2 drops of pink food coloring. Stir to combine.

3. Immediately start to pour your mixture into the molds. The diamond molds have very small compartments, so I had quite a few spills before I got it down to filling them accurately. You will have to work fast, as the gelatin starts to harden immediately.

4. Once you have poured all of the gelatin, place the molds into the refrigerator for 2 hours to fully harden. After 2 hours, remove the molds and pop out your diamonds. You can also leave them overnight if you place the molds in ziplock bags. Make sure to store the gummies in a ziplock back in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve them to prevent them from becoming too hard.
